I haven't kept up with them, but do they still have 0 pitching?

Randy Johnson should be 100% all season this year, they have Mussina back, Pavano should do a little more this year, and Mariano Rivera is still in the pen. The bottom line is though, with their lineup, they could probably give up 4-5 runs a game and still win 90 games this season.

They also have the makings of a great middle relief staff.

They should win no less than (and probably will win) 105 games with that lineup.

Unfortunately, like you said, their pitching is still old and not improved from last season. They'll get bounced in the first round of the playoffs. Again.

They could win the division on hitting alone but when they get to the postseason they will run into that very good white sox rotation and you know what they say? "good pitching beats good hitting"

The White Sox might not even make the postseason this year. That Indians lineup looks more than ready to make a run at the AL Central Pennant.

With Rivera on the lineup, there is no such thing as '0 pitching' with the Yankees. They do at least fairly well in every phase of the game, just because of how much money they've spent.

That big time closer doesn't mean much if you can't even get to him...
