It's year 3. This is the year to criticize if no improvement has been made. And nothing has been improved. Counzo has no offensive mind. If he can put out a top ten defense and have at least an average offense, then I am fine with him. But our offense is abysmal and our defense is slightly above average. Teams that out rebound other teams like we do should
blow out other teams out of the water, especially when the other team is inferior. I see no hope. No progression. I'll wait and see how this year pans out. But the sad thing is that I know how it will pan out. No pleasant surprises, no new looks on offense, just mediocrity. This isn't our football team. Martin inherited a program that went to 6 straight NCAA tourneys. It's just inexcusable to see how lost this team is at times.

We were trying to hire him when we got Jerry Green. Remember Dickey was in Stallings living room and Stallings was going to be our coach but Floyd returned Dickey's call and Dickey took it. Stallings got PO'd and turned the job down. Stallings doesn't sit too well with me but he's done a better job at Vandy than what has happened here the last 3 years.

Even if there was a chance (there's not), his show-cause doesn't expire until August. No major college program is going to go 5 months without a head coach. Besides, it's not worth risking your program with the NCAA again on a guy who's never been to a Final Four. And UT wasn't his first NCAA screw-up.

5 games into the season & I'm ready to hire someone else. This team has Final 4 talent & we can't beat UTEP??? Hate to be pessimistic but I don't think we get revenge vs X. We aren't motivated. The mind portion of this team is non-existant...

You say that there is not a chance, Hart hasn't stated that, only that he hoped Martin would win this year.

I've had that opinion of Martin supporters for a while. Looks like ole 95 has some apologies due.

It seems to me that CCM has skills at building a roster but lacks the skills to build it into a team. This is the same old slow start routine that bites you in the butt come tourney selection time. There is little energy and, admittedly not being a basketball coach, our offense is slow developing and no movement which makes it easier to guard us - and when are we going to learn how to shoot free throws.

Someone needs to light a fire under this team. Watching the Full Access portion of the game the only thing moving was Coach's mouth. As conservative as Coach K is he shows plenty of emotion when his teams or individual players need a jump start.

He looks to be a good man, a good mentor for our boys, no off-court embarrassing events... so I want him and this team to succeed. If they are they will have to take it up a notch. Hard to watch.
