The 'AA requires him to make X hours of progress towards a degree each semester. Withdrawing, unless he's coming back in the summer to pick up those hours, would be irrelevant. Pretty sure that's not happening.
When he posts a 0 in hours accumulated for a semester in which he participated, it most certainly has a negative effect. Ask USC about that.Hat, Hopson is pretty close to his degree. In fact, if he had not withdrawn this semester he would have been only 6 hours shy of his degree. There is no way he is going to affect the APR negatively.

No, if you participate in a given semester, that academic unit is measured. It's why USC got blistered for Nick Young and Gabe Pruitt not finishing up the spring semester they left for the pros.Isn't the academic judgement always placed on the prior semester? I'm asking. I don't know, but assumed it always has because most of these guys leaving early don't finish the last semester.
You should worry more about yourself. I'd hate for you to have to hit up the high school and low level college coaches you hang out with in your Bobby Maze Is Excellent circle for loans.
Bobby Maze is Excellent?????? Never stated such. Like I said, you can pick the amount. I can cover it...LOL
And it isn't as simple as you make it out to be. Yes the AA has progression requirements, but if he formally withdrew this semester and is as close to graduating as I have heard, there won't be a problem. He's only been at UT for three years and has almost four years of hours.

That's what I'm saying. If he didn't participate in the final semester, it doesn't count, according to that wording. I believe he'll be in good academic standing and I believe he hasn't been participating in school this final semester.
By participating, I mean playing. He most certainly played, though wildly inconsistently, in the Spring semester. If he withdrew from classes in February, I'd say the folks from the 'AA are going to interested to see UT's excuse for playing a guy in the NCAA Tournament who wasn't an active student. That's what I'm saying. Posted via VolNation MobileI said Ware was wildly overrated from day one. I said all along that Jones would struggle to qualify.
If you think Hopson, who hasn't been to class since February and has had Larry Marshall interviewing agents since before the season started, was ever coming back, I can't help you.
The Harris clan aren't idiots. When at least five guys who would be picked ahead of you stay in school, that's the signal to ditch any plan that doesn't involve being in the draft.
Under their scenario, you don't even have to be enrolled in school. If Hopson withdrew in February, the 'AA beatdown for Pearl's lying will look tame compared to what we get for playing a guy who wasn't even a student. How in the world was he able to play in the spring semester then?
I thought there was a minimum classload you had to take unless it was your final credits for graduation or you had already graduated?
Keep talking. Why don't you cry anti-semitism again? You're a piece of garbage who worships the same. I forgot commenting on Ware at a point when he still appeared to be a sound prospect. You, being the Pearlesque, duplicitous, lying waste of oxygen you are, said nobody called Ware's game out until he decommitted. The record is clear that I, and several others, soured on Ware after he looked like JP Prince II in the summer of 2010.be easy on him. Being outed as a fraud has ruined his entire day.
poor thing.
