Yesterday, November 4th, 2008, a day that shall live in infamy for decades to come... It was an election day driven by racists and promoted by racism. The racism existed on by sides of the election however.

Those who voted for Obama because he is black are racists and should bear the disgrace and shame!

Those who voted against Obam because he is black are racists and should bear the disgrace and shame!

Those who stayed home and didn't vote for Obama because he is black are racists and should bear the disgrace and shame.

The fact that Obama is a black man should mean nothing to anyone and if it did that person is a racist and should bear the disgrace and shame.

I didn't vote for Obama, but it wasn't because he is a black man. It is because McCain was better qualified, and true American Hero but the most important reason I voted against Obama is that he is a man of questionable character and a Marxist.

Not even close. You need to read and research much, much more so you can remove yourelf from the totally uninformed and become an informed American citizen.

If I were guessing, I would say you really like Sarah Palin and would vote for her in a heartbeat.:birgits_giggle:

For you to say that Obama was more qualified than McCain speaks as to how clueless you are.

If you disagree with McCain, fine, no problem. This person happens to disagree and you TRY to insult his intelligence (notice I said try). People in America disagree all the time, it does not mean he is less intelligent than you.........In fact judging from many of your post I would bet the vast majority could run circles around your intellect.

I don't think this election was for president of the world. Who they want for president should have no bearing what so ever.

I think McCain was the better choice, just my opinion. I do think Obama could be a good president if he leaves UHC alone and does not tax business to heftily. If he can help to keep Reid and Pelosi under control he has a good shot. It will not be easy

That being said I am afraid he will try to enact these social policies that will have consequences almost immediately and too a greater extent down the road.

this is a problem, there's something wrong w/ that

I'm not sure about that ... it depends on the case/circumstance. I would agree that their opinions should mean very little (to none whatsoever) to us when deciding who to elect...but it isn't necessarily a bad thing that foreign countries are pleased with the outcome. It could be, depending on who those countries are, and why they are happy...but for the same reasons, it might not be a bad thing.

Having the people of the world look upon the US as a society that anyone can succeed can be a huge boon to us.

Highly unlikely, and certainly not you.

He said McCain is "much more" qualified. it just isn't so...maybe by YOUR standards, but by mine and many others, McCain isn't all that qualified. He might be more EXPERIENCED, but that doesn't necessarily translate into being more qualified.

And before YOU call someone clueless, you better read the posts more thoroughly and proofread yours.

You mean more experienced, don't you?

And no, little boy, I am not on crack. Check your context and then get back to me

You guys are totally confused. You aren't differentiating between "experienced" and "qualified". There is a huge difference

Isn't experience the best qualification?
If you are looking for a surgeon do you want someone familiar with procedures? I guess you would be happy with a guy that read a few books on the subject.

What do i need to proofread? Seriously, your intellect is by no means awe inspiring so the quicker you get off your high horse the better we all will be.

Excellent point...it is all about context and why they are pleased...I think that the message you note is a very positive one. Even Muslims can be president of the US. /jk :p

Experience is the best qualification. Period.

Say you have a choice between two individuals for a job you need filled.......
Option A is a proven commodity who performs well and has a track record of producing.

Option B is an upstart who shows promise but has little in the way of experience.

Who do you choose?

and the bottom line is that your evaluation of qualifications is subjective at the very best and certainly doesn't live up to the standard of being able to call someone else wrong.

Because in the eyes of the people they can look around the globe and point to only one fair and equal system.

I would think this is going to give a lot of people pause.
