Referring to CBJ by using his real name when I am getting into the game or recruiting.

Lyle gets it.

I think we may be reaching the 'you ain't no real fan' part of the season so why not get ahead of the curve and define what is a real fan....it might be difficult to put info a clear, concise proclamation so another way to do it is to develop a list of traits or conditions, each with a numerical value....IE:

Attended 5 points
Graduated 10
Season Tickets 2 points for every year had
Stand the entire game, every game 2
Have a UT hat from bookstore 2
Have a UT hat from Walmart 1
Have a UT related tat -10
etc....

Then determine levels of 'fandom'...IE

200 points “The Fan'
150-199 Gold Club
and so on...
Lets see I didn't attend or graduate chose to stay closer to home and go to ETSU. I'm 24 can't really afford season tickets I don't stand the entire game although I do stand a lot. And I don't wear hats or have any tatoos.

Well guys guess I'm not a real fan. Its been real. Time for me to go root for someone else now.

I have Diabetes and have to check my blood sugar level several times a day.

Every time I have to stab 1 of my fingers I always get bright Tennessee Orange blood so there's zero doubt of my love of all things Tennessee Vols.

I am disappointed that each drop of blood I test doesn't have a bright white power T on top.

The 2 bright Orange bumper stickers on the front of my truck and the 2 on the back always make certain that everyone knows I love my Tennessee Vols no matter if I'm coming or going.

Real fans always love our Tennessee Vols no matter how bad things may get and we'll still be here when we're Winning the SEC and another National Championship among all the bandwagon fans that will jump on board just because we're kicking everyones butts.

It's ALWAYS great to be a Tennessee Vols fan!!!

bonus points for:

attending away games
punching bammers
wearing gear proudly the day after a loss

I do this...and wear it proudly...being a Vols fan is more than just an individual game...it's a personality, a lifestyle...it's part of my being...

My avatar is what I looked like when I went to work after we beat South Carolina...my face was painted up also and I wore the big orange foam finger...I live in SC and some of my coworkers are HUGE gamecock fans and have been giving me a hard time the last 2 years...I thoroughly enjoyed that night...

It's people like that as to why you shouldn't stand. People behind you may not be so nimble. You just look like an ass really. 24/7 standing should be left to the student section . Besides, football really isn't a standing sport. Stand during big plays, big turnovers, etc. but do you really need to stand on first and 10 from your own 30?

If I paid my money and want to stand I'll stand and cheer. People who aren't so nimble may enjoy sporting events in the comfort of their living room a bit more.

Anyways I'm nice enough to let the old man behind me have my seat and i'll take his if he's in the shape of my example of how you were acting.
