Lets see I didn't attend or graduate chose to stay closer to home and go to ETSU. I'm 24 can't really afford season tickets I don't stand the entire game although I do stand a lot. And I don't wear hats or have any tatoos.I think we may be reaching the 'you ain't no real fan' part of the season so why not get ahead of the curve and define what is a real fan....it might be difficult to put info a clear, concise proclamation so another way to do it is to develop a list of traits or conditions, each with a numerical value....IE:
Attended 5 points
Graduated 10
Season Tickets 2 points for every year had
Stand the entire game, every game 2
Have a UT hat from bookstore 2
Have a UT hat from Walmart 1
Have a UT related tat -10
etc....
Then determine levels of 'fandom'...IE
200 points The Fan'
150-199 Gold Club
and so on...
bonus points for:
attending away games
punching bammers
wearing gear proudly the day after a loss
It's people like that as to why you shouldn't stand. People behind you may not be so nimble. You just look like an ass really. 24/7 standing should be left to the student section . Besides, football really isn't a standing sport. Stand during big plays, big turnovers, etc. but do you really need to stand on first and 10 from your own 30?
