Texas would have been smart to never have fired Rick Barnes. But hey, I'm glad they did!
Disagree. Texas hadn’t been past the second round in seven years. The program had gotten stale and had fallen off the National radar. In all honesty it was probably the best thing for Barnes. He desperately needed a change of scenery.

According to Message Board Geniuses Ky posters want to rehabilitate and hire Chris Beard and the Longhorns want to pick up Calipari!

Is he on meth or something?
He’s just himself. He posted in another thread that Mel Kiper never picked Leaf to be #1 over Peyton in the draft and everyone told him he was wrong. I posted the exact tweet, the article and even Kiper and Leaf acknowledging it and he scurried away 😂 typical Bostonite. Doesn’t know anything about sports
also was b****ing about the Heupel hire too saying he couldn’t coach or recruit

The tweet you posted acknowledged nothing. The post that I originally responded to said that Kiper had Leaf going ahead of Manning, which I took to mean that he had him rated higher, which is patently false. And I don’t know anything about sports? Do you want to compare posting histories and see who doesn’t know anything about sports? Do you still think Tennessee is going to score 59 points in Athens? Just missed that one by about 46 points. Tell us again how great Jeremy Pruitt is though you football savant. Do you want to break down the Ohio State coaching staff’s strengths and weaknesses. Do you want to talk about why Saint Louis has been such a disappointment so far this season in college hoops? I mean you know so much about sports, those conversations should come easy for you.

I never said that Heupel was a bad hire. I said that it was a lazy hire and his tenure would come down to the defensive staff that he hired and how well he’d be able to recruit on that side of the ball. All of that is still to be determined by the way.

What about my post would suggest that I was on meth? Barnes was done at Texas. His last seven seasons proved that. His last two recruiting classes were ranked 29th and 41st respectively. He’s a good coach that needed a change of scenery.
Sound like a Texas troll. You one of those El Paso intruders?

After the Heisman fiasco, it became alittle popular for media nerds to go “anti Manning”. Only complete idiots thought Peyton wouldn’t be a success in the NFL. His work ethic separated him from Leak. We all know how that ended
