Saban to the Browns.

Gruden and Tee to Bammer.

It would go along with everything else that's happened to us so far.

I agree with others that if Saban left for NFL, then Kirby Smart would probably take over. Lance Thompson would probably be DC, and Sal would be hired back as LB coach, I'd bet. They would rock the sinking ship as little as possible.

I lived in B'ham and I can tell you Saban is beyond a God there. It seems more plausible to me that Grudes would take the Browns job since he and the owner have such a good raport...if in fact they do. Personaly, I think both men simply like being perpetually at the top of every big time coaching search. Neither will risk losing their value for a new "challenge".

You know Gruden owns property in east Tennessee and his wife is a former cheerleader! Oh by the way he was FIRED by the Bucs. Blah, blah, blah ... Forget Gruden, he cares about nothing but money and ego. I wish he would go somewhere in college football and Jones bUTch slaps him around a little.

You have to know your limitations!
Gruden does.
Will never coach college ball.

Peter King on Cowherd (20 min ago): A source close to Saban said he has not mentioned the NFL in the past year. Also, King's thoughts are that the Browns would not be a good fit for Saban. Thinks he needs a rock solid QB in place already.
