<------This guy right here. Thats right,.... Alton needs some more media attention. Im not talking the Car Wash at Bristol, Im talking weekly highlights, ....updates on whats he fishing with?, what the next lure he's getting?, what color is it?, how does it swim?....ect...

Pro Bass Anglers need more Media exposure. I curse you ESPN for hating them. Thats silly little outdoor channel isnt cutting it.

And finally, I'll add this.

Dear Mods,
I know this is the wrong forum. Sorry. I just couldnt let it go. I hope we can one day have a Pro Bass Tour Forum. :)

Thanks and gig em. go vols.

Start small. Make a fishing thread much like the Golf, Tailgate, Commercial, etc.. threads.

It's not terrible idea actually, most of the south is about to be in prime season. This started as a rant but if yall think it could stir intrest, someone get it going.

What's your fave springtime lure ? Worm ? :)
Rapala Baby Shad Rap...Catching them like crazy right now with it....To early to fish a worm or lizard, soon as the spawn comes fish white spinnerbaits on tree-tops, post spawn I will fish zoom 6in black-red glitter lizards, or berkley power bait red shad 6 in worm....

I probably fish wayyyy to much, going to fish the bass series tourny at KY Lake this fall...

Rattletrap in the early morning but it has to be red. That's what worked lately.

I like the spring because you get to check all the new toys from spinner baits, late afternoon top water stuff.

The worms dont get effective untill it gets hot.

I love watching the bass masters. Love to fish actually going tomorrow. before and after the tn game. i agree the outdoor channel doesn't have much when it comes to fishing. don't get me wrong i love watching the hunting shows, but give me some more bass shows. i could care less what billy bob is catching down in mexico, or out in the ocean. also the outdoor channel needs to get rid of that stupid Gold Mining shows. The guys on that show are ridiculous

I agree, way to early for a worm.

Red rattletraps are a bad dude, Shad Rap has to be the best lure on the market though. I have always said that if they would put a rattle in it there would be no more bass..

If anyone like to crappie fish I have found the most deadly lure ever..It doesn't look like much but you owe to yourself to try it out...Been fishing it for a couple years and have always been close or reached boat limit every time....

I guess I would like to see more fishing shows in general. We'll have to disagree on the hunting shows, I cant stand them. I've always enjoyed bird hunting, ducks, dove, and quail, more than big game. Even those shows bore the pants off me. Give me some Spanish Fly catching Marlin in the Carrib on Sunday morning! And of course, some shows on folks dragging large mouths out of Lake Fork the size of truck mufflers! I can enjoy that.

I checked that out and it looks pretty good. I'd like to get some insight on color selection for them though.
Do I adjust to the water like I do for spinner baits? Or have you had more luck with one specific color combo?

I live in College Station but I grew up on the coast, galveston bay, bolivar penn., crystal, sylvan beach bay.. My home was in LaPorte back then, but I fished all along the coast back then. High School was not a priority if you catch my drift.

Texas offers some of the best fishing in the US. I know I sound like a homer but, it is what it is.
