All this wringing of hands about Pearl. Can't do anything about it. But in a couple of hours you tip off versus the Wolverines and a couple of hours after that you are hopefully marching on to the next one.

So who wins today and why? Will Hopson score 25? Who is going to join him in double digits?

I have no idea who wins. If we have any focus at all, we should destroy them on the boards. We'll see if we have focus.

Also, happy birthday, Bruce. :ermm:

It's amazing what an ill timed interview can do to our psyche.

Just reading the board (aside from the game thread which has received little love), no way one could have determined we had a game in two hours.

I believe there is plenty of discussion going on in the game thread.

I'm not even going to see it. I'm playing in a golf tournament. That may turn out to be a good thing.

With this team, every game's a crapshoot.

That's true, but that's the past. I put UT somewhat in the camp of Kentucky and some of the Big East teams. I think UT showed signs of laziness in January and February, figuring they weren't going to win the SEC and to some degree distracted by all the crap that's been floating around, but knowing that with the strength of what they had done already they were in.

I think UT's NCAA run comes down to two things: intensity and free throw shooting.

That's what I tried telling myself, but if that were true, they would have played better in the SEC tourney, as well.

And they got smoked by a mediocre FL team :p

Tennessee wins, UT is more athletic and the rebounds will kill michigan. Hopson gets around 20-21 and Tobias has another huge first half

Tennessee loses in a back and forth game...this is just not a good team.

Kind of sums up the whole year. Seems like their minds and ours have been somewhere else all year. NCAA garbage messed up the whole year.

Wouldn't it be amazing if the Vols actually used this and went on a run? I just don't see it though, not only are they distracted they're missing too many pieces to make a serious run this year..... Unless they find the defense that got them to 7-0.

Who knows with this team. Hoping for a Pitt type performace, but might end up with a oakland or charlotte.

Hopefully the team will just come out angry as bama.Look for alot of emotion and hustle. If this happens we should win big.

If they come out flat and dejected...they'll be home soon.
