I am fine with where we are. I don't say we should be higher than you. Seems to me that at least 2/3 of the people on this site outright say a #2 is inaccurately high and of the remaining third at least half of them are hedging.
(VolunteerHillbilly @ Mar 13 said:for the most part the 2-4 seeds are pretty much at the same level. Interestlingly, I did find out that they distribute hotels based on seed. So the #1 seed in a region gets first pick of the hotels (Ritz Carlton or what not), while the #16 seed is lucky to get Lucky Joe's Motor Court.

This is a pretty good post, just one point to make about Kansas... its not their fault that UK sucked this year, they scheduled them expecting the cream of the SEC.(therealUT @ Mar 13 said:Syracuse? Yes, they did win the Big East, however, that is all they have done this year. 19-10 prior to the Big East tourney, their only top 25 win came over WVU. Yes, they got hot in time to make it into the dance, but that is it.
GW...played nobody. 26-2, great, against what, 25 teams that are outside the top 100?
Pitt...could definitely make a solid argument to be ahead of UT, but their non conference schedule was extremely weak (1 ranked team, Wisonsin)
KU...almost as weaker non conference schedule than Pitt couple with the fact that they played in a much weaker conference. Pitt probably should have gotten the 4 and KU the 5 in that bracket.
BC...again, weak non conference schedule, lost to the only ranked non conference team they played.
The committee has been trying to force teams to schedule tougher non conference competition, whether you feel it is right or not, this is how they punish teams for racking up 10-14 easy wins prior to conference play.
