don't want BCP. I know it seems like he has their number,and you usually go after the guy that beats you(Anderson) but I know of one MPS fan on here (DEN) that would be HIGHLY disapointed if MPS took Pearl. It seems Bruce is chaseing the almighty dollar anyway,why would he go to MPS from the SEC,to get closer to a easier bid every year in the turny (and) or the money? If it's money he's gone whether they want him or not. I personally like his style of play,but he has come short of what we expect or are wanting,(past the sweet 16). It does not seem like he can recruit as well as CAL,hell he almost had the 1,2,3,pick comming in and I haven't seen Pearl get a top 5 yet,Why would MPS want him? 1 and done(TN),geeessss!:eek:hmy: By the way Henry looked awsome in the BIG MAC CLASSIC.

just read that this delay may be caused by the fact that Memphis has thrown more money at Tim Floyd than Arizona did. FLoyd has a presser scheduled for 5 o'clock central and then we will know

What most Memphis fans want had little relevance. It's the boosters and administration that mattered. But it's all moot now. They didn't get him.

Hmmm, you sound like more of a Tiger High fan than the Vol your name reflects. I remember traveling through Memphis during Bruces first season one week before the Vols/Tigers game and the disrespecting condescintion was MORE than palpable. The commentators were laughing at the upcoming game and were saying Tn would NEVER have a BBall program. As a matter of fact, they shut down a couple of questions about it because it was'nt worthy of consideration. Calapari came into the Memphis role at a FAR different place than Pearl came to the Vols, yet, head-to-head Pearl OWNS him. Your one or two point victory against a massive rebuild job should not even be considered a victory for Memphis. Dude, with ya'lls schedule every year, the built-in recruiting base, and the "hang your hat on it" support locally in Memphis, Bruce would show you how bad Calapari had underachieved. You are either being niave or wearing a serious shade of blue glasses

He(HAT) should after that crazy remark,I'll just find the ignore button for him. He doesn't even know where Dyersburg is I guess. That's west TN where most people in east TN don't think we exist. We do and some of us like tiger basketball when the vols don't play. I suspect I've been pulling for the ORANGE longer than he's been alive. I also suspect he doesn't pull for Alcoa when they are playing for a STATE championship, I pull for all TN teams,sorry dude I love ALL my state,I'm not biased I just pull for Memphis when TN is not playing against them,so now you know how I feel. I don't pull for Jeff Gordon because he's Jeff Gordon,I pull for him because he's driving a Chevy get it, I doubt it. I pull for all Chevy drivers. I want them to be 1,2,3,4,5 every race even though I pick on the board to win. Now, You got some other misconseption of me? Reply to the post not the poster. Get it! Millsfield is also where I live and proud of it here in west TN. Let's go fishin at Reelfoot lake dude just down the road. One of the best Crappie fishin places in the state.Get it, Again I doubt it. Hey Mills. Are you saying Reelfoot has bigger crappie than Kentucky Lake? If so, then I need to come up and go fishing with you.
