Get a grip!! This is a young team that had NO SENIORS that even suit up. Give them some time. And by time i don't mean a few games.

People like to talk bad about Kentucky fans being legally insane, but some of the posts i've read tonight are laughable they're so crazy.

You are right. The posters would be right at home on the Kentucky or Gators boards.

After watching the game yesterday you can definitely tell this is a very young team. However, there is so much potential that I can't help but to think this team will be very good. Maybe not so much by the end of this season, but surely by next year. Especially if Tyler Smith comes back next year. Be calm and watch. GO VOLS!:eek:k:

Can't agree more..We havn't even had half of this team on campus for a year. Tennessee fans havn't had to watch a team grow together because Bruce took us from the bottom to the top (#1 ranking) in such a short period of time. It's gonna be exciting watching these guys, especially Hopson and Tatum, grow as players.

Doesn't matter how young they are if they aren't disciplined are can't play defense worth crap. They also can't do the small things right (T. Smith and the older ones included) like going up with two hands for a rebound or loose ball, simply boxing out a 6'1 guard no one pays attention to, diving after passes that are clearly out of reach leaving your team down a man in transition, or going for an impossible block leaving the lane wide open for an offensive board and slam.

Kansas is just as inexperienced as us. That game is palyed at TBA it isna win for us by the same margin. It is what is. I don't know who expected us to win this game, but they shouldn't have.

THANK YOU! I am so mad that everyone on here thinks were some Power in Basketball that should be running the tables and making Final Fours every year. I am fine with what we did last year, and how bright the future of our program looks. This is a very young team with no Seniors yet we expect more than last year? If we get a Conference Title everyone will stop bickering, but until then every loss will make this board light up with "Pearl gone in 2 years" or "we need a big man" but then if we beat a #1 Memphis everyone sings and dances in the streets and claiming Bruce is God. It makes me think of Kentucky fans more and more everyday.

Yes they are but Kansas Reloads, we are not quite to that point yet. We lost half of our scoring from last year. We are not a program that just reloads yet, we are getting there though.

So I mean, we weren't facing kids that havn't learned the game, or have athletic ability or anything.....on the road in one of the most hostile environments.....against one of the best coaches in the college ranks.

We need to just collapse and call it a year boys!:good!:

I think every board has their whackadoos. The KU board is no exception. People meltdown over the smallest sh*t. If it weren't so pathetic, it would be funny.

Amen. There is a reason they say "Beware the Phog"...

I went to the game and it was simply one of the best, if not THE best, home environment in the nation (I'd say Rupp and Cameron Indoor would be the competition). However, TBA is tough as well, and I completely agree with the statement, especially with the young team that we have.

What was amazing was that EVERYONE participated in chants and clapped and then you could hear a pin drop when they were shooting free throws. I'm pretty sure they could hear me on the court during those free throws from near the top of the stadium. Plus any sound from the crowd is projected because of the low metal ceiling and metal bleachers.
