You would think the Blagojevich trila would get more coverage.

Judge halts questioning on Obama - Blagojevich on Trial

Sheldon Sorosky, one of Rod Blagojevich’s lawyers, has been trying to drag President Barack Obama into the fray this afternoon, asking union official Tom Balanoff whether the FBI asked him about campaign money going to Obama.

Prosecutors objected, as they have so often during cross-examinations, and U.S. District Judge James Zagel said Sorosky should only ask in general what the FBI had said to Balanoff.

Sorosky tried the question again, using Zagel’s recommended wording. “I know that won’t be objected to,” Sorosky said, causing the nearby Blagojevich to laugh.

But Balanoff didn’t get to give an answer, and Zagel wouldn’t let the line of questioning go on after a private sidebar discussion among the lawyers.

Why would you think that? They haven't covered the failure to lift the Jones act, failure to waive EPA restrictions on the world's largest skimmers, interference with Jindal's effort to protect La... they have poo-poohed his citizenship question without demanding a birth certificate to settle it once and for all.... They've ignored the revised estimates on his health care costs... they've underplayed greatly the unemployment problem and have doggedly avoided giving him any blame for it...

At times they've spun positive so hard that if you possess the raw facts... you'd have to call them liars.

They've run a propaganda/picket fence campaign that would make Joseph Goebbels proud since the moment the guy appeared on the scene. Why on earth would you think this would get play? The only way it gets coverage is if there is a real connection to him that can't be covered up... then they'll blame the GOP just like they did when Clinton should have been removed from office for perjury.

Not only are you exactly right, this has been going on for a long long time.

Even terms have shifted meaning, a 'liberal' today is a hard left socialist.

JFK and Hubert Humphrey were liberals but today they would probably be considered hardcore conservative.

And the American people by and large aren't really buying such propaganda either, that's why you see the tea party gaining so much momentum, newspapers going out of business or cutting way back and the viewer ratings for ABC, CBS, CNN and NBC News programs dropping through the floor.

The left tries to demonize FOX but there is plenty they could cover but don't if they really were the voice of conservatism or even sanity in America.

I think Goldberg's take on the press is about right. They don't necessarily sit around in dark rooms plotting... they just come from the same place with the same ideals. Like anyone else, they don't want to hear bad things about people they admire or about people whose downfall could hurt causes they care about.

This story isn't interesting to them because they like Obama and Dems... they really just don't want to talk or think about this case and its implications.

They grudgingly admit that Obama has been incompetent on the oil spill but they really don't want to talk about or think about that either.

By contrast, they LOVED talking about Katrina because it damaged the GOP and Bush. They loved talking about Iraq casualties and difficulties.

Funny how General "Betray Us" become a celebrity overnight with the liberal press just because Obama nominated him. Dem Senators who declared his strategy a failure just a few months ago... voted 99-0 to put him in charge of a similar operation. What did the MSM say about this hypocrisy? Nada.

I have often wondered how a conservative candidate would do if he ignored his opponent and JUST ran against the media... pointing out every instance of bias and running campaign ads to prove it. Wouldn't work? Americans tolerate alot of things but they hate things they perceive as unfair. A majority agrees that the press is unfairly biased toward Dems. I think it could work. I know there are long shot races where it would be worth the try.

Everything is always all about money with you.

JFK endorsed mediacare but he and Robert were the last two senators to stick with McCarthy's effort to rid the US State Department of it's communists.

If JFK were a senator to today he would be one of, if not the most conservative democrat on the hill and he would be further right than several who claim to be republican.

“It is a paradoxical truth that tax rates are too high today, and that tax revenue is too low, and the soundest way to balance the budget is to cut taxes now. Only full employment can balance the budget, and tax cuts will pave the way to full employment”
--JFK

“I didn't leave the Democrat Party, the Democrat Party left me”
Ronald Reagan!

"Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom."
—John F. Kennedy

Barrack Hussein Obama is a down on his knees servile sycophant to the same people that were behind the assassinations of JFK, Robert and MLK imo.

Why did Rahman al-Qudwa demand the release of Sirhan Sirhan before ordering Abu Jihad to execute US diplomats Cleo A. Noel Jr. and George Curtis Moore at the Saudi embassy in Khartoum, Sudan???

If you want an article published or want to hold down a job with any major news outlet you had better put on the liberal spin. That's how it is, no matter the cause.

Of course they have some semi-retarded token hacks who are supposed to be presenting the contrasting conservative view but that is just window dressing.

I think more and more people are catching on.
