At the Cinci PC to anounce BJ was leaving, the Cinci AD said "You wouldnt believe everything Colorado offered to get BJ.", or words to that affect. Anyone hear what was offered...besides booze and loose women?

Probably no more than I've offered for BJ in the past.

More than you and many others think. Apparently "IF" Manning called CBJ to entice him to become the HC at Colorado...he knows and sees something about CBJ all the naysayers here don't and I trust Manning about football more than some so-called experts on this forum.

Or maybe he was calling to try and keep him away from the UT job? Lol JK.

You laugh but I've seen that implied by at least two posters in the past 5 days. No telling how many others believe it too.

Ooo...here's a good theory...

CBJ really does want to go to Colorado and they made him an acceptable offer, which he had in fact accepted. But Peyton called him to ask him to do a favor...not to ask him to come to CO as was reported...but to resign from Cincy, take the UT job just long enough to start recruiting and keep the HC chair warm...wait for it...for Gruden.

So, CBJ takes the UT job, but shortly after the end of MNF, resigns due to a some strange allergy to a previously unknown mold found only in ET, and accepts the CO job (his doctor orders it) which strangely is still open in a couple of weeks. Tennessee is then forced back to the coaching well, at which time Gruden has had a change of heart. How 'bout that? :)

OK...I know I should be banned for using the word Gruden...but that isn't even remotely as bad as the unfortunate use of Coach Jones' initials...
