FOXNews.com - Young 'Adolf Hitler' and Two Sisters Removed From Home - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News

Adolf Hitler Campbell and his sisters, JoyceLynn Aryan Nation Campbell and Honszlynn Hinler Jeannie Campbell, were taken from their Holland Township, N.J., home on Friday by the state's Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS), Sgt. John Harris of the Holland Township Police Department told FOXNews.com.
Their father, Heath Campbell, is expected in court Thursday in Flemington, N.J., in connection with the case.
Kate Bernyk, a spokeswoman for the DYFS, said confidentiality laws barred her from commenting on the case or even confirming that the Campbell children were involved.
"DYFS has their reasons and they normally don’t release any information, so we kind of have to go on faith with them," Harris said. Police were not told what the agency was investigating.
"I’ve dealt with the family for years and as far as the children are concerned, I have never had any reports of any abuse with the children," Harris said. "As far as I know, he’s always been very good with the children."

Thoughts other than this is a Faux News cover story to disguise the fact they are not fair and balanced. Clearly this is right wing extremists?

New Jersey officials said Wednesday that it is not just a matter of names.
"DYFS would never remove a child simply based on that child's name," Bernyk said.
Pretty important part of the article not in your quote. If the part I bolded is true, then this article is only newsworthy because of the unusual names.

I wonder if they will remove children named Hussein from their homes?

Hussein was a genocidal dictator. Only an obvious psycho would name their child after such a mass murderer.

All because the little boy couldn't get his name on a birthday cake. :shakehead:

Next thing you know they'll be confiscating all children named 'Muhammed.'

they'll take Christian kids away from parents before they take kids named muhammed.

this is really sad, if there is no abuse, then they should leave them alone. it's ironic the state is acting just like hitler would.

how do you know there is no abuse? They specifically said the kids weren't being removed for their names.

it may have had something to do with the kids putting the rest of the neighborhood into work camps while shouting "arebeit macht frei"

i don't know if there is. i heard 2 different stories. one said there was abuse, one said their wasn't.

i wonder how a state defines abuse, i know there are clear cut signs, but there are also grey areas.

Anybody that would give kids names like those are obviously unfit. They probably are on meth or something. And Hussein and Muhhamed arent looked at like Hitler and Hinler. Germans wont even name their kids those names.

Who views Hinler as a problematic name? Do you mean Himmler?

if someone named their kids fidel castro, or chavez or Hussein Obama, i'm sure there would be no uproar

technically she was named for Himmler (from another article)
I understand, but he said the name Hinler is looked at as worse than Hussein. He's wrong.

Just a jab because he was giving me some impressive educational credentials yesterday. I don't know if you can tell, but he tested 98th percentile in high school.

You know, the person who does the birth certificate at the hospital should be able to say, "Try again" when someone names their kid extremely stupid like that.

I see now. Clearly my reading comprehension scores were not in the 98th percentile.

why is it their place to judge? There are thousands of unexplainable names in this country that might cause a 'try again" if the person has a grudge. You want joevol telling people Mohammed is offensive?

Then again, no. But it's just the nutty names I care about. Like calling your kid Fidel Castro or Adolph Hitler. That's a no go in my book.

I'd venture a guess that more people globally would have a problem naming a kid George Bush than Fidel Castro these days.

i'm not saying anyname is offensive. do i think naming a kid after hitler an arian nation is stupid? yes. but if you're going to take kids away for their parents naming them, then why can stop them from taking kids away from parent who attend church or want to homeschool.
