It is that time once again, Daytona Speedweeks. Time again for the Top 5 Pick 'Em Contest to begin. New this year is a tie-breaker for each weekly round. There were several ties last year.

1.) Pick your top five finishers for each Sprint Cup race and you receive the points for each driver as awarded by NASCAR. This includes bonus lap leader points.

2.) If you pick the race winner you receive 25 bonus points.

3.) If three of your picks finish in the top five, you receive 15 bonus points. If they finish 1-3 in order you picked, you receive 30 bonus points.

4.) If all five picks finish in top five, you receive 30 bonus points. If they finish 1-5 in order you picked, you receive 60 bonus points.

5.) If you pick the Pole Position winner you receive 20 bonus points.

6.) You get one "Mulligan" in that your lowest score will be dropped.

7.) For a tie-breaker a driver will be designated each week as the tie-breaker pick. Closest to picking the finishing position of that driver wins in the event of a tie.

8.) Enter either car number or first name when two drivers have same last name (Busch & Gordon). If only last name is given, you will receive points of the lower finishing driver.

You must enter your picks by the posted starting time for each race and Qualifying session, no exceptions will be made.

A sample entry is in the next post.

All disputes must be filed in the form of a PM to rbroyles before the next race. All decisions to be made by rbroyles and will be final. Good luck to all, may you fight hard for second place.
