Mine was the Utah state fan sitting behind me hyped up at the kickoff. Than after 4th down stop and neyland erupted...he looked at me and said "this is insane, you all got some crazy, loud, dedicated fans". Had the deer in headlight look when wave started as well. Go vols!
After the game, we met up with my son, fresh off his first performance as a member of the Pride. He said it was the most exhausting thing he'd ever done. He gave his all for Tennessee that day.
As we stood talking to him on the new pedestrian bridge, a little 5(?) year old girl in a Vol cheerleader uniform walked up to him and just stood there awestruck. Eyes wide as saucers, she literally walked around him staring at his uniform as if he was her hero. Made his day.
Being able to take my pregnant wife with our future Vol fan to the game (she demanded to go to a Vol game before she got too far along in her pregnancy- due November)
Father-in-law came through with 4 terrace tickets on the 50 with a G10 pass. Was able to sell my other tickets (which are good seats) and go for free. Can't beat that.
I also enjoyed watching the wave. One of the best I've seen. The whole atmosphere was fantastic. I was impressed with how amped up the student section was. I hope they come through like that on a regular basis. The vol walk was super crowded as well. I really look forward to this kind of game day experience more often.

1. Letting VP's mom in front of us at the VolWalk so that she could give Von a hug before he walked into the stadium! It was really cool! She told us that she had talked to him that morning and he told her that he had a TD for her. (Sure enough lol) She was really nice and soooo freaking excited!
2. It was my sister's first game. She loved it!
Edit: 3. And I should add booing some USU fans that walked through the VolWalk before anyone started coming down. It was all good hearted though and when they got across to us it was all hand shakes, back pats, and welcome to Knoxville. Very enjoyable VolWalk
Got crazy with the wifey that morning, played golf, got to the stadium a couple of hours before the game, a little tailgating with the wife and friends, night game at Neyland and a Vols victory. Couldn't script a day better than that if I tried.
