I believe every Vol fan last year has at least one player that galled them last season. Be it play, personality, appearance, or anything. Well, it is a new year. Therefore, in hopes of improving, which player are you forgiving and presenting your personal “Clean Slate” offer to?

My Clean Slate hopeful is #5 Hadden

I remember watching Hadden when he first got on the field and thinking "he's the best player on defense." Soon thereafter, he seemed to start taking backward steps. I don't know if it's coaching (WM), overconfidence or he simply had one good game at the beginning. This year will tell I guess.

If I’m not allowed to pick hadden, I’ll go with mccollough. If he corrects the taking bad angles he’ll realize his potential. Or maybe Burrell since he didn’t play due to injury, but was a starter prior to that. But yeah we all want hadden to shut up and show out.

Hadden for sure but also Milton to an extent. I know he emphasized how much he's changed since he didn't "wow" us as the starter vs BGSU.

If we are going with 'Clean Slate off an injury', I have high hopes for Kwauze Garland
If it's 'Clean Slate needs to step up and show up', I'm split between Mincey and Mays on the OL.
Not that either performed overly bad last season, but the OL this year of all years need someone to step up and be a very strong leader....Mays or Mincey needs to be that guy.

On a side note - when did we go out west and pluck some random, weather-worn, sun-baked, crazy-eyed, dude to be "Asst Dr of Life Skills and Character Development"...that guy looks like he would whip you rather than talk to you...

Hadden would have been fine if his play backed up his mouth. Most of the time that was not the case.

Milton running out of bounds vs Ole Miss. Proof the time heals all wounds.

It still hurts me to think about that one.

For me it’s Roman Harrison. I have been saying he will break out for the last couple of years and he hasn’t. The guy looks the part of a beast pass rusher. It’s time for him to step up and become a destructive force.

There were times when he looked good, getting in position to either intercept, knock the ball down, or make the tackle. Other times he looked lost. Hope he can get it all together this year.
