This should be super fun. What is your favorite sports moment that is not related to Tennessee sports (since this is the pub) or your team winning a championship? It can be from one of your teams, an athlete you always love, or just a great sports moment that you appreciate.

Mine is pretty easy. I was “sick” nd it was MLB Opening Day 2010. I wanted to stay home and watch the most hyped, best prospect in baseball make his debut. He came up with two runners on and magic happened. Jason Heyward, welcome to the show.

Oh man, so many. One of my favorites that I was not in attendance for would be innings 8-11 in game 6 of the 2011 World Series, especially David Freese.

This one's obvious.

I like this one because of the play by play

Never seen a guy go this highto pull one back.

This one because of what happened at the 20 yard line.

I remember reading about this play in elementary school from one of my NFL scholastic books. This one always fascinated me.

College Football, Vince Young's game winning TD against USC and Boise State beating Oklahoma.

NFL, the Vikings beating the Saints in the playoffs 2 years ago.

NBA, Kobe's last game, and i hate Kobe.

MLB, Ken Griffey Sr and Jr hitting back to back HRs in a game.

College Basketball, I'm a Gonzaga fan so the 2005 Maui Invitational triple OT victory against Michigan State when Adam Morrison went off for 43 points. He and Maurice Ager put on a show that night.

I was at this playoff game in the lower bowl. Derek Fisher shows up in the 2nd half (he was with his baby girl for her cancer surgery in NYC) and then hits a couple late 3's to secure the victory. I never felt such a spirit of comradery like that before or since. It was electric. The crowd went absolutely insane when he checked into the game and this video captures that moment better than ESPN did:

Living in Phoenix in 2001 and watching game 7 outside BOB. Playing the NYY shortly after 9/11 was just some crazy stuff.
