Basically a song you have heard millions of times but never gets old.

For me, it's kind of a surprise cause his solo career had sucked for the most part...No matter how many times i hear this song, i still dig it...Even when Tyson butchered it, still love it...What makes this song even more interesting is the obvious fake urban legend that follows it.

Ever? That is a tough one. I'll go with "Jack and Diane" for today.

I misread the thread title. The above are my least favorite overplayed song(s).

my favorite overplayed song is probably "Beautiful People" by Marilyn Manson

I sing it every time it comes on at work. Doesn't matter if I am helping a customer or not. Gotta love Freddy Mercury.

I think every station needs to play more Queen.

Look at the list of people who played at Live Aid, both in the US and Europe, and then just ask yourself what the hell happened to music?

There will never be another era where we have Queen, ELO, Led Zeppelin, Crisby Stills and Nash, Tom Petty, Journey, Genesis, etc, etc etc, all vying for a spot on the radio.

Now it's just 3 songs over and over and over again and none of them are talented.

Freddie Mercury voice was a gift from God. He was a huge loss.

DO Ya by ELO is my answer.

Songs rocks.

Coming in second would be Southern Cross by CSN.

Impossible not to feel good when you hear an ELO song. My fav of theirs would have to be Don't Bring Me Down, with Livin' Thing a close second.
