I know you gotta do what you feel is best for VN, Freak, but we kind of have a fraternity in this little corner of the board. I kind of like that it's way down at the bottom. I think the ones on the front page are more likely to be frequented by the trolls. We've seen what the basketball forum has turned into - sadly, the football forum, jr.

edit: I still hold this sentiment, but see below. Freak said 'linking' and I read 'moving.' Doh!

You do have a point. We definitely don't want trolls in here or those "city of Memphis" haters that wish nothing but ill will for the city. Sad but true

lol. There sure are a bunch of them on here. Gotta admit, in my youth growing up in East TN, I was about the same. I thought the town was chock-full of thugs. When I moved here, I wouldn't even go downtown til' I'd been here a couple of years. :) I had NO IDEA how cool this city can be.

I transferred to UM from UT. When I was in an upper level marketing class, the teacher mentioned something about how people are going to be surprised when the Tigers go into K-town and beat the Vols at Neyland. I let out an involuntary laugh, and then realized he was serious. The UM football players in class didn't appreciate it, either. It was awkward to say the least.

I'll probably forget to do it so don't stress too much. If trolls do show up just report 'em and I'll send them packing. :)

I would've laughed too. Memphis football is a good joke. As bad as UT has been the last 3 years, UT would still beat them 49-10

Memphis is a good time for sure. I've always had fun while visiting.
