Your preference?

At first, I was mad that I didn't get all this inside recruiting knowledge from this staff, but now I kinda like it. I like logging into Volnation or Rivals or seeing "X" report and seeing names that I had yet seen us being associated with yet in their top 4. Case in point, Devonte Brown per rivals has us in his "main 4." It just seemed like I got disappointed with guys like Luc, Scroggins, and even in the past Simms.

So what do you think? Do you like being surprised or would you rather follow a certain recruit all the way up to his decision knowing we are in on him?

I like the way Kiffin had everyone "knowing." That had VN to a altime high in excitement. It is fun seeing us pop up with someone in suprise, but i just loved the way Kiffin let everyone know what was going on.

Kiffin's info leaking and news is what got me really in to recruiting. It was fun, but lots of ups (Bray, Chaz Green) and some downs (Luc). That said, I like Dooley's method as well. These suprises lately are nice, and I don't get too much false hope. Hard to say which is my preference.

I think that's my favorite part. No false hope. We don't know what he's doing so if something/someone doesn't come through the fans aren't as upset.

Dooley info will never be anywhere near the level of Kiffin info, but I do think we'll get a little more during the season when kids are on OVs and do interviews afterward
