We will just have to get into the NCAA, play a high seed first and win. It may be to our advantage to play a high rather than a low seed if this year's W-L pattern continues.

is Alabama. What an utterly awful basketball league this is right now.

Problem is Alabama only has to play the east teams once and gets to play the west teams twice. This is the problem with SEC east vs west basketball set up. It needs to change. They may actually win the freaking conference this year and be the 4th or 5th best team in the conference. Ridiculous!

There is literally no problem with playing everyone in your division twice and the rest of the conference once. That's normal. Just because half of the league is worse than the other doesn't mean you need to change it all.

Great post. You never let me down. I can always expect the same formula from you. Idiocy+emoticon=Smokeybluetick.

We're going to put Bama away in less than 2 weeks. They haven't played UF, UGA or Vandy. Lost the only meaningful SEC road game they played at Arkansas.

They beat KY at home, and they beat MissSt on the road.

Bama isn't awesome, but they just might be the class of the west. They ain't half bad.

I'm glad we get them at Knoxville this year.

It appears the SEC West is going to go 3-1 against the East today.

How pathetic is that?

Alabama isn't a talented team at all, but they are getting after it on defense. That's the reason for the early success.

Alabama has only lost to one nonbcs conference team this season. They aren't that bad.... their losses look a lot better than ours at this point.

Anthony Grant is a good coach, he'll do well there in time.

Who gives a damn if Iowa is in a BCS conference? They're worse than anyone Tennessee has lost to. Providence and Seton Hall don't exactly inspire fear, either.

Providence has shown flashes, the other two mehhh... but on a piece of paper they look stronger than charlotte and arguably cofc. Our Arkansas loss looks a little better today.

I've been arguing with a Syracuse friend of mine about coc or Seton hall being a worse loss.

Since Seton Hall is now healthy, it's CofC. Charleston isn't bad, but Hazell, Pope, and Robinson will all be in NBA camps this fall(if there are camps this fall).
