Wow. Big news day. 3 departures in 2 hours. Wonder if this means some commitments are incoming?

I really enjoyed watching Pons play. Seems like only yesterday we were watching dunk highlights from a French high school kid, making his way to Knoxville. I hope he does well and sticks in the NBA. Something was off with him this year, not sure if it was physical or mental but I have no doubt he has the athleticism to make it at the next level. Could be the next Dennis Rodman.
GBO!!

Best of luck to him. I’ll miss his highlights on the defensive end especially. Hoping he gets a shot and can make a good living as a pro here or overseas and provide for his family.

3 potential first round picks in the same year. Pretty sure Barnes can still recruit. But yeah yeah yeah his tournament record blah blah blah

He will get drafted on athleticism alone in my
Opinion
I don't think anybody will spend one of their two draft picks on a guy just because he's athletic. The fact that he has potential in his long range shots will help, but they will raise questions about his rebounding and his post game. He will either go late in the second round or go through to free agency.

I think Pons signs a free agent deal somewhere after the NBA Draft.

He is a defensive specialist whose offensive game still needs polish.

I think he's very likely to get training camp/GLeague offers at the least. I'd say he'll have his suitors overseas as well due to his citizenship.
