One thing the article kind of eluded to but didn’t stress much is the hard work it takes to be successful in life. Yves clearly is talented but worked hard to become exceptional. I have a grown daughter who is a professional violinist and has been blessed to play, record, and tour the world with well known people. I remember asking her personal teacher this question when she was like eight - “Do you think all this time spent practicing and performing is to much for an eight year old?”. I’ll never forget his answer. In his heavy Chinese accent he ask...”So What else beneficial would she be doing with her time?”. Seems Yves approaches life with the same philosophy!
