Hey all ... great to catch up to the board!!.. lots of great new stuff been added here!! ....but even better than reading about the games coming up is being there... and the Football angel just came through for me today so WHOO-HOO!! :) Now the jokes on me cause I never tried to get a room close to the UT campus at football season..LOL..... I can still hear the hysterical laughing of the guy at the Days Inn I tried to reserve a room from... :laugh1: I'm SO glad I made someone's day.. hahaha :)...anyone wanna throw out a suggestion of a hotel that isnt too far from the campus that I wont have to sell my birthright to get???

Try West Knoxville. Cedar Bluff or Parkside Drive. It's about 10-15 min. from campus.

Yah... You are so right Freak.. it'sweet huh?? makes me feel all kinda of warm and fuzzy inside... LOL.. or maybe I am just getting whoozy from staring into this computer screen when I should be getting to bed!! :lol:

I envy all you hometown Vol fans.It truly bites living in Georgia and being a die-hard Vols fan.

Hey Six... I hear ya... really.. went to one VOLS game a couple of seasons ago on vacation here.. went back to Oregon and about cried everytime I knew the VOLS were playing and I couldnt be there to cheer 'em on....I about called a state holiday on the days I could see the few games I could on TV while I was in Oregon... but.. it was just NOT enough.. never wanted to be away at football season in TN again!! LOL.. yep!.. packed it up and moved it out....and here I am .. happy as can be!!!!!!! WHOO-HOOO!!! Let's get it started!!! :cheer:

The thumpin in your heart beats faster and faster.
The lines of players move and move again.
The final formation comes at the sound of "Stars and Stripes".
Then as the band plays "Fight Vols Fight" (can you hear it?)
The masses of band members part like the Red Sea.
The crowd explodes.
The sea of orange roars out of the gate.
The 107,000 fans roar even louder

Aint nothing like watching them run through that T for the first time of the season.

I am going to be too pumped to settle down at work today!!!........haha....Keep it up!!!....I'm shaking those pom-poms and probably going to be quite annoying to my BAMA fan boss today :eek:lol: GOOOOO VOLS!!!!!!!!! :)
