Gonzaga’s conference got just as many teams into the NCAAT as Arizona’s conference. Gonzaga played Texas, UCLA, Duke, Alabama, and Texas Tech out of conference. There seems to be this misconception that Gonzaga doesn’t play anyone, which is false.

And St Mary’s (in Gonzaga’s conference, I realize many here need this info) won their first round game and gave UCLA a go yesterday. BYU (also in conference) was a bubble team much of the season. Florida just hired San Francisco’s (also in conference, also made the tourney) coach.

Also, last year they played Kansas, Auburn, West Virginia, scheduled Tennessee then Baylor (Covid cancels), Iowa, and Virginia in the regular season.

Two years ago played Texas A&M, Oregon, Michigan, Washington, Arizona, and North Carolina
