Donnie Tyndall and his entire staff met with former Vol signee, 6-foot-8 power forward Phil Cofer on Tuesday night. “It actually went pretty good,” Cofer said. “Building a relationship, it helped to talk face-to-face.” … “I have a way better feeling.”
In addition to the Vols, Cofer is receiving interest from Memphis, Florida State, Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech. He has a visit scheduled to Florida State and hopes to schedule an official visit to Tennessee, where he’s never visited “officially.” Cofer was released from his letter of intent by Coach Tyndall on April 25th.
