Tennessee point guard Darius Thompson is heading to Virginia, according to his father. “Yes he’s going to UVA,” Lonnie Thompson texted the News Sentinel. Thompson posted earlier on Twitter: “I had an amazing freshman year… And that’s why it’s hard to say goodbye…..” Thompson requested and received a release from Donnie Tyndall on May 5th.
