Tennessee defensive tackle Trevarris Saulsberry, who was injured during the Vols’ open practice on Saturday night, won’t miss the season as some had feared.
“It could be a couple days, it could be a week,” Butch Jones told the media on Monday afternoon at the conclusion of practice.
“He reaggravated his knee but we don’t anticipate him being gone for the season. It’s going to be how his body progresses, how he heals. So that’s a positive. Right know he just aggravated his knee that he was coming off of surgery.”
Saulsberry is expected to provide much needed depth in the rotation at the defensive tackle position this season.
