Ethan Wolf says nothing torn

Tennessee got what appears to be good news on the injury front on Sunday as the Vols’ true freshman tight end Ethan Wolf tweeted, “Nothing’s torn… Thanks to The Lord!.”

Wolf limped off the field in the third quarter after taking a shot to his knee while running with a Justin Worley pass. His playing status remains unclear.

There is still no word as to the status of receiver Von Pearson, who also left Saturday’s game with an injury.

  1. Thanks for the post, Freak. Win or lose in Norman, some other young Vols are going to be needed a bit more. Let’s hope the boys can avoid any more injuries. This experience can develop some PT in readying for UGA and the gayduh’s.

    • Thank you for the comment sameolvol. I’m with on you injuries. It’s easy to realize after what happened on Saturday, just how devastating they can be.

This is a young team and will will likely judge their success on how well they improve throughout the year. While I certainly don’t expect a win, the Oklahoma game is a great opportunity to see how our program compares with one of the best. It’s a great learning opportunity, as Butch will probably say. 🙂
