Beast. That might be a word used to describe five-star class of 2016 defensive tackle Julian Rochester from McEachern High School in Powder Springs, GA. Measuring 6-foot-5.5 and 280 pounds, he is rated as the top defensive tackle in the country by 247sports and the No. 5 player overall in the 2016 class. It just so happens he’s teammates with five-star wide receiver and current Tennessee commit Preston Williams.
Rochester now has more than a dozen offers from major programs around the country, but Tennessee was his first, and that means something.
“Preston Williams, he said it’s a beautiful place,” Rochester told 247sports. “I think I want to see it.”
Appropriately, #Stud is the hashtag that ESPN college and high school football analyst Rene Ingoglia chose to describe Rochester. “Lots of @ESPNRNFball top talent in last nights McEachern/Lovejoy game most impressed w/ #ESPNJr300 DT Julian Rochester @CraigHaubert #Stud,” he tweeted.

Julian, want a NC? Come on up to the Vols young man and make dreams come true…even your own!
We can always use another great DT talent to play alongside K McKenzie.
Exactly, I’d love to see talent on the defensive line like what we saw in the late 90s. Better days are ahead.
That’s what we need more big uglys, big uglys will win championships.
You can never, ever have too many #Stud defensive tackles, imo.
