Five-star wide receiver and current Tennessee commit Preston Williams said yesterday that he plans to visit USC in January. “USC is really cool,” Williams told 247sports. “(Trojans wide receivers coach) Tee Martin is recruiting me.”
Williams is rated as the No. 2 wide receiver in the country and the No. 19 player in the class of 2015, according to 247sports.
Last week the talented prospect said he plans to visit Alabama and maybe Auburn.
“Bama is talking to me,” Williams told the AJC. “They want me to take a visit. I’m going to take one there. I just want to take a visit to take a visit.”
In the same interview with the AJC last week, Williams insisted he was still solid to the Vols.
“I’m still 100 percent with Tennessee,” he said emphatically.

Go ahead and look around and enjoy the experience. But, remember who loves ya…that’s right, UT Vols.
Tee Martin is VFL, so I guess if PW plays for him, then everyone would be fine with that.
I wouldn’t be fine with Preston Williams flipping to USC and, livefaith, outside of you, I doubt any other Vol fans would be, either. Am I alone at being just a little nervous about him checking out other programs?
Given the choice, as a Tennessee fan, I’d certainly prefer Preston not take other visits. I’m sure most agree.
