Even with a 2-2 record, Tennessee is ranked No. 21 in this week’s College Football News Poll.
21. Tennessee 2-2
Last Week: L, Georgia, 35-32
Why The Ranking Should Be Higher: Sure, the Vols are a .500 team, but who wouldn’t be after playing at Oklahoma and Georgia in consecutive weeks? Tennessee is growing up quickly under Butch Jones, giving the Bulldogs all they could handle in Athens. Why The Ranking Should Be Lower: Right direction, sure. But the Volunteers still have a long way to go. The team is very young, and the defense isn’t ready to stop quality offensive skill players. UT’s best win of the year so far was over Utah State in the opener.
Other SEC teams of note: No. 1 Alabama, No. 4 Texas A&M, No. 6 Auburn, No. 9 Mississippi State, No. 10 Arkansas, No. 12 Ole Miss, No. 14 Missouri, No. 15 South Carolina, No. 16 Georgia, No. 18 LSU.

Shouldnt No. 10 be Texas A&M instead of Arkansas?
Texas A&M is 4th.
I’m surprised the Vols are ranked,it id nice,but I don’t understand why
The poll doesn’t make much sense, honestly.
then again, how many polls actually DO make sense?
