Four-star Georgia running back Elijah Holyfield narrowed his list from 10 schools, down to just five on Thursday.
Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee made the cut for Holyfield, according to Chad Simmons of Scout.com
The son of former boxing legend Evander Holyfield, Elijah is a widely considered one of the top five tailbacks in the country. He’s rated as a four-star prospect by each of the major recruiting services.
On Tennessee, Holyfield told the Atlanta Journal Constitution, “(Running backs coach Robert) Gillespie has been one of my favorite recruiters throughout this process and he’s a really great guy. I really enjoy it up there.”
He plans to announce his commitment in early September.
I will be committing on September 4 at Woodward Academy. #12+1
