On a night when leading scorer Robert Hubbs III was relatively quiet, four Vols scored in double figures as Tennessee’s bench outscored the Aggies’ bench 30-8.
Lamonte Turner led the Vols with 14 points, four assists, and four rebounds in 22 minutes.
Grant Williams was a warrior. In 31 minutes of action, he poured in 12 points on 4-of-7 shooting, grabbed five rebounds and tied the single-game school record with six blocked shots.
Off the bench, Detrick Mostella had a rough night shooting, knocking down just 5-14 from the floor, but managed 13 points. Shembari Phillips added 10.
After being tied at 29 at halftime, the Vols led by as many as 20 points in the second half.
