In last night’s playoff game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Berry recorded seven tackles and a second-quarter interception in the end zone off of Steeler’s quarterback Ben Roethlisberger, which kept the Chiefs within striking distance.

It wasn’t enough, however, as the Steelers squeaked out an 18-16 victory on a controversial holding call which negated a game-tying two-point conversion.

After the loss, Berry gave his teammates a few words of wisdom.

“Everybody just be honest with their self,” Berry said when asked what he told his teammates after the game. “Look in the mirror and ask themselves if we did everything we could to win this game. That’s it. Just be honest with yourself.”

At only 28 years old, it’s time for Berry to get paid. He’s one of the top unrestricted free agents in 2017 and is set for the biggest payday of his career.
