Tennessee kicks off the 2021-22 basketball season tonight at Thompson-Boling Arena against UT Martin at 7:00 p.m. The game will be televised by the SEC Network and is available on the WatchESPN app. Kevin Fitzgerald and former Vol Dane Bradshaw have the call.

Tennessee is 4-0 all-time against UT Martin, with an average margin of victory of 19.3 points. According to oddshark.com, the Vols are 35-point favorites in tonight’s matchup.

Super Senior forward John Fulkerson is questionable.

“He’s questionable,” Barnes said earlier this week. “He’s been doing everything he can with us. Obviously, he’s not in contact with us right now, but otherwise, he’s doing everything he can to keep himself in the kind of conditioning he needs to be in.”

In its only exhibition game of the season, Tennessee defeated Lenoir-Rhyne 103-62. Freshman Kennedy Chandler lead the way with 21 points on 8-10 shooting, including 4-5 from 3-point range, and dished out six assists. Fellow freshman Brandon Hundley-Hatfield finished with 15 points and grabbed a team-high 12 rebounds.

The Vols made 17 3-pointers in the contest, which would have been a program record for a regular season game.
