Five-star Oak Ridge (TN) wide receiver Tee Higgins released his top five on Monday night, and Tennessee holds the No. 1 spot.
The former Vol commitment of five months, who reopened his recruitment on February 3rd, named Tennessee as his leader, followed by Clemson, Ohio State, Florida State and Ole Miss.

“It’s in my backyard. I always looked at that. And Coach (Butch) Jones is a pretty cool guy. It’s closer for my family to come watch me play, so that’s a good thing.” he told 247sports recently.
Higgins is the top-rated player in the state, according to the 247 Composite ranking, and the No. 2 player in the state according to Rivals.

Definitely has game changing ability on the HS level. Hope he chooses to show what he can do on the college level at UT.
No doubt. I’ve seen Higgins referred to as one of the best players to come out of this area in quite some time.
Thanks for the comment.
Come on home!!!
Wonder if Barnes is in the mix too?
You mean for him to play basketball here? Maybe, but I’m kinda skeptical. The football/basketball thing seems to never work out here.
Thanks for the comment, livefaith.
We need him and he would forever be endeared by Tennessee fans if he came here. Nothing like being a pro and coming back home to visit your old school as an honoree and being able to visit your mama in the same trip. Hope he is smart and sees all the future benefits of being a VFL.
No doubt, ArmyVol, Tee is one player we definitely need to keep home. I agree.
Thanks for the comment.
For real he could be the one that cements us back to greatness!!!!!! We won the first BCS with the last Tee to strap up for UT, now lets bring one home with the new Tee!!!!!
I could see a future with a lot of td’s from Geronimo to Higgins! What a beautiful thought!!!! Dormandy to Higgins! Give him six!!!!!! We would be a winner either way!!!!
As bright as the future looks at QB for the Vols it would be a great situation for this young man!
