Devon Baulkman, a 6-foot-5 JUCO guard from Gulf State College in Panama City, has signed with Tennessee. Baulkman previously signed with Donnie Tyndall at Southern Miss, but was released from his agreement after Tyndall left for Knoxville. He will enroll at Tennessee this summer and will have two years of eligibility remaining.
“Devon is another versatile, long, athletic guy that fits our system really well,” Tyndall said. “He can play all three perimeter positions, and that versatility will allow him to contribute immediately to our team.”
Last season Baulkman averaged 15.5 points, 4.9 rebonds, and 2.4 assists on his way to All-Panhandle Conference honors for the second consecutive year. He and scored a season-high 48 points against Northwest Florida State on February 1st.
