Tennessee’s Chip Long is heading to Tulane as offensive coordinator

Chip Long, an analyst on the Vols’ football staff, is expected to be named the offensive coordinator at Tulane, according to Pete Thamel of Yahoo! Sports.

Long was offensive coordinator and tight ends coach at Notre Dame for three years from 2017 until 2019. He joined Jeremy Pruitt’s staff last year as an offensive quality control analyst.

A final deal is expected to be worked out in the ‘upcoming days.’
