Justin Worley appeared on the SEC Network on Tuesday in an interview on the show, SEC Now.
As we saw him do on social media after the Oklahoma game, Worley continues to defend his offensive line—one that has given up nine sacks already this year. According to Worley, the line has done a great job of maturing and developing chemistry, even though two freshmen are starting on the right side (Jashon Robertson and Coleman Thomas). Mac Crowder has done a great job at center, taking control and leading and guiding them, Worley said.
In order to have success against Georgia on Saturday, Worley believes Tennessee needs to push tempo. The Vols’ offense takes pride in its fast play and conditioning. Tennessee also can’t beat itself and must execute in the passing game, he said.
The Vols know what’s at stake and just how important this game is, and it’s extra special for those 17 players on Tennessee’s roster from the state of Georgia.
