As hard as it is to swallow a tough loss, it seems some good did come from this weekend’s game against Georgia. According to John Brice on his Sunday night radio show, several recruits who were in attendance at the game in Athens have reached out to Tennessee about visiting Knoxville for the Florida game.
“Recruits who were at the Georgia game already have reached out to Tennessee officials to try and visit the Vols this coming weekend for the Florida game,” Brice said. “You can’t ask for a better formula if you’re Tennessee, other than having closed out that game with a win. When you’ve got recruits calling you, texting you, sending you direct messages on Twitter in the aftermath of a game like that at Georgia, saying ‘hey guys we want to come visit you next weekend, we love what we saw on the field’. That’s big time for Tennessee.”
The Vols have a solid list of visitors already, and with this news it sounds like there could be more to come. Check out the forum link below to keep tabs on which prospects are expected on be on campus Saturday.
