Gerald Williams Fiasco
The Gerald Williams saga continues. What a joke the NCAA has become. This kid scores a 23 on his ACT and is being told that his score is not being validated because he did “too good”. What exactly is too good? That is another way of saying that the NCAA believes you cheated.
Williams took the test yet again last week and should have the results back sometime next week according to University officials. The key word there being “should”.
If Williams score doesn’t meet qualifying standards he would most likey have to attend a junior college or a prep school somewhere. He also could choose to appeal the decision but with all that has happened you wonder if an appeal date would be this decade. Gerald originally signed with the Vols in 2005.
Classes begin at UT on Wednesday.
