It’s believed that Warren will transfer to Tennessee. If he gets a hardship release from the NCAA he could play immediately. If not, he’ll have to sit out a year.

As of Friday, Florida State University says Warren is still enrolled in school and is in good academic standing.

Warren was rated as a five-star player and the No. 1 overall prospect in the state of Tennessee by Rivals.com coming out of high school in 2006. The FSU tight end caught 28 passes for 301 yards and a touchdown on his way to being named to the Freshman All-America Team. Rae Sykes, Warren’s friend and teammate at Alcoa, signed his letter of intent to play for Tennessee last Wednesday.
