It was announced this week that Inky Johnson will spend his senior season at Tennessee as a student coach for the team.
I think it’s great that Inky will get to play a role with this years team, albeit off the field. He has been a true inspiration to both players and fans alike with his positive attitude and the way he has handled himself through his tragic injury.
Discuss Inky Johnson.
Inky is not the only former Vol to become a coach this week. Aaron Green joined Bruce Pearl’s staff as a graduate manager. Green, who played for the Vols from 1995-1999, recorded six 20-win seasons in seven years as coach at Cleveland High School.
