  1. Kickoff returns and punt return average in triple digits nationally? Pathetic. Hopefully Dooley will try some fresh faces in the return game this week.

  2. I see we are 12th in the SEC in 3rd Down Conversions. Don’t want to sound like a pessimist but that statistic is really not surprising since we simply don’t do 3rd Down Conversions this year. There has to some silver lining inside the dark clouds this week.

  3. It’s bad. Here’s the actual stat:

    Tennessee 3rd down conversions: 9/43 21%

  4. Our ineptitude with 3rd Down Conversion seems to have worsened. I must say however, even though we were outplayed, and outcoached Saturday, our boys show guts. They did not quit. They hung in their against better talent and better coaching seemingly without any answer for UABs passing game and without any apparent defensive adjustment at halftime. Thank the football gods for UAB’s terrible fieldgoal performance.

    Congrats on the win.
