I think CDD hit it on the head, this is young team who have not learn how to come back, more work and maturity help this team.

There is something called CLASS and this is the time for TENNESSEE to show some. Dooley is trying to re-build this program from the bottom up and trying to instill integrity, character and courage in these young men. So many fans wanted to get rid of Fulmer and everything would be better but for different reasons, that has not happened yet. We are in the middle of the stream and we can’t turn back….we must keep going forward. Sometimes you have to go through the fire but when you come out on the other side, you are stronger and better able to face adversity because of what you have endured. We are all in this together and we will survive if we stick together. Name-calling and disrespect toward our coaches and players says more about US as FANS than it does our team. We are not the only team having trouble…Muschamp, Jimbo Fisher, Mack Brown, Chizik, Nutt etc….who do you think would be the perfect coach?? If we support our coaches and our team through thick and thin, our day will come sooner than if we keep changing coaches and griping. We all want to WIN but there are other ways of winning besides scoring the most points!
WELL SAID, Orangeslice!!! I couldn’t agree more. It is what it is, and as Tenneessee fans it is time to support our team and coaches. If we, as the Tenneessee VOL fans continue this rampage of demanding immediate winning satisfaction no matter what the concidences – it shows we are no better than L Kiffin! We are better than that! Tenneessee VOL fans do have class, intergity, honor, charactor and endurance! We all want to win and to be the best in SEC and National Champions again! We will again too, but not at the expense of of our coaches and team being demoralized all in the name of winning games. Just my opinon. I know, they are like elbows and everyone has one or two.
what a great perspective, orangeslice. Thanks for a great post!
