Jarnell Stokes scored seven points and five rebounds as the USA Men’s Junior National Team defeated Lithuania by a score of 100-60 on Saturday to advance to the 2013 FIBA U19 World Championship game.

“Lithuania did a great job spreading the floor and shooting 3s,” Stokes said. “We imposed our will on the inside and made it an up-tempo game. We’re hard to beat when we play at our pace.”

Stokes has started every game for Team USA, averaging 7.6 points and 4.6 rebounds while shooting 61% from the field through eight games. He recorded 13 points against China, which is his tournament high.

Team USA puts its 8-0 record and 42.8 average margin of victory on the line against Serbia (7-1) in what appears to be an evenly matched championship game. The Serbians played the Americans close on Wednesday before losing by a final score of 63-58. It was their only loss of the tournament.

The game tips off at 2:15 ET and will be televised (streamed) on ESPN3.
