Tennessee’s 2014 recruiting class is filling up at a frenzied pace.
That trend continued on Thursday evening when the Vols added yet another brick to its foundation with the addition of 2014 Florida offensive lineman Ray Raulerson.
Raulerson measures 6-foot-4 and weighs a solid 280 pounds. He is rated a 3-star prospect by each of the major recruiting services.
I have officially committed to the University of Tennessee Vols! Blessed! #VFL

Raulerson is the third offensive lineman to commit to Tennessee in the current class, joining Orlando Brown and Coleman Thomas.
“Ray is a dominate offensive lineman, equally adept at devastating run blocking and impermeable pass perfection,” Rualerson’s current head coach Robert Weiner said. “He has been a three year starter and has developed into one of the top lineman in the state. His ability is only equaled by his work ethic and character.”
With the addition of Raulerson, the Vols now have 21 commitments in its No. 1-ranked 2014 class, up from 18 earlier this week. JUCO wide receiver Eric Lauderdale committed on Sunday and safety Cortez McDowell on Tuesday. And with the multitude of visitors scheduled to be in town for “Foundation Week” this weekend, that number may increase again sooner rather than later.
